Dr. Rob McVety
A Heart for Our Community
Growing up in Oxford Hills with a family friend who was a dentist, Dr. McVety was inspired early on to serve people through dentistry.
He graduated from Bates College in Lewiston before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Hospital in Denver, Colorado, with advanced surgical training.
His international training includes study with Dr. Tomas Linkevičius in Lithuania and Dr. Bernardo Sousa in Portugal.
Serving the Underserved
Driven by a passion for helping people, he actively volunteers through the Dental Lifeline Network and the Finding Our Smiles Organization, serving underserved communities locally and abroad.

Areas of Expertise
Dr. McVety performs all aspects of general and comprehensive dentistry as well as specialized treatments including veneers, onlays, full mouth rehab, sedation, periodontal, and dental implants.
Personal Interests
He enjoys running, skiing, traveling, and fishing (having recently discovered paddle board fishing). He is an enthusiast of Portland restaurants, gelato, and animals (especially alpacas and giraffes), and is an avid photographer.
Dr. Jake Donohue
Dr. Jake graduated from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York before moving on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University.
Following dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.
With a passion for lifelong learning, Dr. Jake is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Home Life
He enjoys running, skiing, and hiking, as well as traveling with his wife. He also enjoys exploring the Portland food scene.
